Portola Railroad Days 2017

August 25th-27th, 2017

Museum admission is waived on August 26th and 27th. Train rides will run all day noon to 4 pm (later if necessary), train ride tickets are $4 for adults, $2 for children, $10 for family groups (2 adults & related children). Locomotive cab rides are available on a limited basis, $20 for adults & $10 for children, limited to a maximum of two people per trip (liability release required).

Train rides and cab rides are also planned for Friday, August 25th (normal Museum admission charges will apply).

UP has contributed two units for display RR Days Weekend. UP 1982 (painted in Missouri Pacific colors) and UP 3014 are on display.

Model Train exhibits are planned for the diesel shop and a live steam G Scale train should be steamed up and running on the loading dock.

The 2017 RR Days are now history, but you can view photos from preparation for RR Days or photos from RR Days weekend.
