Although the museum is closed for the winter, there are still things happenings and activities as we prepare for opening in the spring.

Nominations for the annual FRRS Board of Directors election are open until January 31, 2024. More information about this year’s election can be found at: https://www.wplives.org/news_items/2024_election.html

The annual WP Historic convention is planned for April 11-14, 2024, in Oroville. Registration information is at: https://www.wplives.org/news_items/2024_Western_Pacific_Historical_Convention.html

If you have ever wanted to work on the railroad, consider joining the Operating Department at the museum. More information about joining is at: https://www.wplives.org/join_op_dept.html

The museum plans to open to the public for the 2024 Season on May 2, 2024.

In 2024, the museum hours will be:
Thursdays and Fridays - 12 Noon to 4 PM
Saturdays and Sundays - 10 AM to 5 PM
until October 6, 2024.
