The
Headlight
The
WPRRHS produces and distributes the journal of Western Pacific history, The Headlight, on a three-times/year schedule for the benefit of FRRS/WPRRHS members.
Founded in 1989, The
Headlight serves to provide information to WP enthusiasts and
modelers on the operations, equipment, history, facilities, events
and people that made the WP such a unique and interesting railroad. The magazine was founded by John Ryczkowski and was named after Western Pacific's early employee magazine of the same name.
Through the pages of The Headlight, fans of all ages can
experience the rich and colorful history of the WP - a railroad
which in spite of losing her corporate identity over 25 years
ago, still maintains a passionate, devoted and enthusiastic following
even to this day.
The
Headlight is provided as a member benefit for all FRRS and WPRRHS
members (requires FRRS Active membership or higher) and is also available from
many higher quality hobby shops. An index of all issues of The Headlight since issue 1 is here and some back issues of The Headlight can be ordered
from the Western Pacific Railroad Museum gift
shop.
