Yeah, if It was sepia toned b&w you could put it next to the picture of Rod's father, and they'd both fit each other...
Lets hope 917 (and all the other rolling stock) is still here 50 years from now...
You just gave me an idea for my next video picture show (similar to the demo disk I gave you)...
I have some other photos of 917, and I could do one in sepia tones, then do a slow crossfade to a color shot...it could be a powerful visual transition, and my video editing software give me a lot of options, and I can also manipulate images with other software before I dump it into my video editor...
As you've seen, I try to make good use of the still & video images I create up at Portola...I can't sing, play guitar, draw a picture, but producing video disks is something I've devoted years of learning and experience...and you can't produce diddly unless your boot are on the ground with camera's in hand...
Photobucket now allows folks to upload videos, which for me takes a long time on slow dial up, but is still worth playing with...
